Challenges

Being in the competitive supplements market, the brand was finding it difficult to grow its sales despite heavy spending on marketing.

Our Approach

We conducted an extensive performance audit as the first step. It gave us a clear idea of what was working for the brand and what was still missing. We suggested some changes to the client that needed to be done immediately. We shared our report with the client with areas of improvement: Organic visibility: The generic keywords had the highest traffic but zero visibility. This led to the listings having poor page views (reach). Ad conversion: Poor conversion with high CPC on high generic KWs. Action plan: To optimise the listings and improve the organic visibility on generic keywords. Ads: Started the sponsored product ad with a specific set of keywords in phrase match which helped us to lower the CPC and provided low traffic-high converting keywords. We further optimised the ads to increase the reach by adding new keywords. We also started the display campaigns and targeted the audience who have purchased the competitors’ products in the last 30-60 days. We implemented the pricing strategy as well and used some attention-grabbing creatives. Scaling Constant monitoring of the advertisements allowed us to know which ads gave us maximum conversions. Based on the results, we scaled the ads that provided excellent ROAS. Besides, we also scaled up the ads for the hero products of the brand.
